Creativity, compassion, and critical thinking are values Mrs. Cullen has strived to instill in her students over her 25 years of teaching English and Drama.  Jenny taught for thirteen years at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy and has been an Adjunct Professor of Composition and Public Speaking at Great Bay Community College for the past nine years.  She specializes in American Literature and was honored to have studied British literature in London.  Whenever possible, she has either been on the stage in community theatre, or working with local youth productions as a costumer, director, or choreographer.  Most recently Jenny had the joy of playing Mrs. Cratchit with her son who was Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol at the Seacoast Repertory theatre.   Her three children are also passionate about theatre, music and the arts and she enjoys being a stage mom!

Jenny strives to use art and music to help exemplify the time periods of literature and often encourages students to step out of their comfort zones to try new avenues in their pursuit of excellence in literature and writing.

Mrs. Cullen has a Masters of teaching in English and a minor in Musical Theatre from UNH.
