Meet our Team
Kevin Collins joins the CATA faculty teaching English III and IV as well as Yearbook (semester 1). He earned Bachelor of Science in History from Boston State College, a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Connecticut and holds NH Certification in 7-12 English. Kevin began his career in 1985 as an English and Theatre Arts teacher in Boston until he and his family relocated in 1991 to Dover where he joined his wife on the faculty at St. Thomas Aquinas High. From 2009 until his retirement in 2020, he served as Principal at St. Thomas Aquinas.
In addition to his teaching duties, he has written and directed a number of stage plays for high school students, developed a Digital Media curriculum, and was the school's Yearbook advisor from 1999-2009. Currently, Kevin serves on the Board of Directors at Garrison Players Arts Center in Dover, and is a member of the Editorial Review Board for the National Council of Teachers of English English Journal. In 2005, he received the Harvard Club's "Teacher of Excellence Award."
Kevin joins the faculty of CATA eager to give back to the caring, vibrant community that he has called home for 30 years and where he raised his children.
