Paula Dubois

Paula DuBois has lived in the seacoast area for all her life.  She graduated from Portsmouth High School and went to the University of New Hampshire where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies.  After college, she worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.  The shipyard offered to finance her courses in business from Southern New Hampshire University and she obtained her Master’s in Business Administration.  She wanted to be a teacher so she enrolled in Franklin Pierce’s teacher certification program.  She successfully got her teacher certification in Social Studies, but only did substitute teaching for the Dover School District.  In order to keep her teaching certification current, she went back to the University of New Hampshire to get her Master’s in Liberal Studies.  Paula taught adult education in the Dover School District for 10 years, but now has a great opportunity to teach social studies at CATA!

Paula loves to hike around the trails in Milton, Farmington, Rochester and Barrington area and she rides horses.  She owns two horses that she cares for and rides on a daily basis.  The horses are boarded in Gonic, NH at a friend’s barn.  It is a lot of work and challenging at times, but it keeps Paula in good shape!
